The theme of this assembly is “Seek Peace and Pursue It” and is based on 1Peter 3:11. Most of the speakers are from the Big Island. The assembly opens at 8 a.m. and the first part starts at 9:40 a.m. The session concludes at 3:55 p.m.
Some of the highlights include the talk “The Peace of God … Surpasses All Understanding-How?” at 11:05 a.m. This talk will be presented by Robert Rains, a representative of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society in New York. Rains also will present the concluding talk, “Those Purusing Peace Gain Jehovah’s Approval,” at 2:55 p.m.
Later, at 11:35 a.m., there will be the dedication and baptism talk. Other talks during the convention will include “Pursue Peace as a Young Person” and “Promoting Peace Brings Joy.”
Throughout the assembly, the following questions will be answered by the talks.
1. What is essential if we are to enjoy peace (Rom.15:33)
2. How can we safeguard our precious peace with Jehovah? (1 Pet.2:21)
3. How do we pursue peace in our ministry? (Luke 10:5,6)
