Officials of the Hawaii Island Chamber of Commerce will host the 40th annual First Hawaiian Bank Hawaii County Business Outlook Forum Thursday evening in the Hilo Hawaiian Hotel Moku‘ola Room. Check-in will begin at 4:30 p.m. and the Chamber meeting and Outlook presentation will begin at 5 p.m.
Jack P. Suyderhoud, professor of Business Economics at the Shidler College of Business at the University of Hawaii at Manoa will provide the “Big Island Economic Forecast for 2015.”
Ken Miller, chief investment strategist and director of investment services at First Hawaiian Bank, will address the “U.S. and Global Economic Forecast and Market Analysis.”
The public is encouraged to attend this event to hear of the upcoming changes in the economic climate on the Big Island. Cost is $30 for HICC members and $35 for non-members and includes a cocktail and pupu reception following the presentations. Two complimentary beverage tickets are included.
