An anonymous patron recently donated an undisclosed amount of money to the East Hawaii Cultural Council to establish a Theater Improvement Fund.
The funds are intended as seed money for a funding drive to upgrade and improve the ventilation system for the performance space at the Hawaii Museum of Contemporary Art. To donate, call 961-5711.
Many improvements have been made at the facility recently, including new office furnishings, a new floor in the annex, new computers for staff use, as well as repair and replacement of all of the building’s windows.
Future plans include an Internet cafe, security gates, a museum shop and refurbished classroom space. Email admin@ehcc.org.
