Insanely organic!

No GMOs!

Could it be true?

Inspired by Dr. Seuss but drawn by you — oh, the places you can go when you build a Zentangle organic garden inspired by Dr. Seuss.

In the Zentangle: Organic Garden class, students will learn new tangles and practice modifying tangle patterns to create whimsical garden features inspired by Seuss.

Instructors Lois and Earl Stokes also will introduce the class to the new tan Renaissance tiles, and students will be encouraged to create a field notebook of tangles.

Zentangle: Organic Garden will be offered from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, at Volcano Art Center’s Niaulani Campus.

The cost is $45. Light refreshments will be provided.

Zentangle’s deepest benefits are discovered when it is used as a practice. Take the time to relax, share and have fun as you create your own art. Lois and Earl Stokes are the Big Island’s only certified Zentangle teachers and encourage everyone to take the time to tangle.

As Dr. Seuss would say, “Will you succeed? Yes! You will, indeed! (98 and 3/4 percent guaranteed.)
