The Lyman Museum and Mission House will be closed to the public Monday and Tuesday, July 14-15, because of tenting and fumigation of the historic mission house.

The Lyman Museum and Mission House will be closed to the public Monday and Tuesday, July 14-15, because of tenting and fumigation of the historic mission house.

“The historic home must be treated for termites every four years as part of ongoing conservation efforts to preserve the home and artifacts inside,” said museum spokeswoman Rachel Pierson.

The attached museum building also will be closed to the public on these days.

The museum and mission house will be open again July 16.
