The Hilo Association for Family and Community Education (FCE) invites the public to attend its Meet Your Candidates Forum at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, at the University of Hawaii at Hilo, 200 W. Kawili St. The session will be in UCB-100. The University Classroom Building is the new building on the Kawili Street side of campus.

The Hilo Association for Family and Community Education (FCE) invites the public to attend its Meet Your Candidates Forum at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, at the University of Hawaii at Hilo, 200 W. Candidates running for the offices of governor, lieutenant governor, U.S. senator and representative, state Senate Districts 1 and 4, state House Districts 1-4, Hawaii County Council Districts 1-5 and OHA trustee have been invited.

The candidates will have an opportunity to briefly introduce themselves to the audience and state their platforms. Talk-story time with the candidates and refreshments will follow the forum.

The Hilo Association for Family and Community Education has hosted candidate forums for many years as part of its commitment to strengthening the community.
