The Hawaii Macadamia Nut Association will host its annual membership meeting on Saturday at the Naniloa Hotel in Hilo.

The Hawaii Macadamia Nut Association will host its annual membership meeting on Saturday at the Naniloa Hotel in Hilo.

An informative day” is planned, with panel presentations, guest speakers from Australia, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the University of Hawaii College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources and more.

There will be a question-and-answer session, a catered lunch and vendor booths. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. at the door, followed by a short business meeting at 9 a.m.

“There will be a call-out for grafted seedling trees needed,” said membership Chair Phyllis Stine. “Be prepared to give your count.”

Registration fee is $40. Lunch is included. The general public is welcome.
