The congregation of Honokaa Buddhist Temple will host its highly anticipated annual garage sale Sunday, in the church social hall.

The congregation of Honokaa Buddhist Temple will host its highly anticipated annual garage sale Sunday, in the church social hall.

The doors open at 9 a.m. to more than 4,500 square feet full of items.

Household items, tools, sporting goods, clothing, luggage, toys, electronics and furniture will be available at bargain prices.

Food items (baked goods, pickled fruits and vegetables) prepared by temple members also will be available, along with fresh, locally grown produce.

As usual, there will be selection of vintage and collectible items offered in the silent auction. This year’s auction will include a selection of rare and unique ceramic pottery and flower arrangement vases, musical instruments, vintage electronic games, Buddhist altars and woven craft items.

The temple is located at 45-516 Lehua St. in Honokaa. No early admissions, although donations will be accepted up to the last minute. The event finishes at 2 p.m.
