With the process known as SoulCollage, you can create a doorway of interpretation to your world of thoughts and feelings through picturesque collage cards.

Instructor/facilitator Valarie Matinjussi has given more than 70 SoulCollage workshops in Hawaii and Washington.

“The directions for completing a collage card are quite simple,” Mantinjussi explained. “Your hands move fragments of cut out magazine images fitting them together in a surprising new way and gluing them to a card.”

Now, you can join her for this fascinating inner journey at the Volcano Art Center from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday.

The cost is $32 for VAC members and $35 for nonmembers. Pre-registration is required. For more information or to register, contact Volcano Art Center at 967-8222 or visit VAC online at www.volcanoartcenter.org.
