Police have located the car of a 48-year-old Hilo woman whose body was found on the Wainaku shoreline over the weekend.

Police have located the car of a 48-year-old Hilo woman whose body was found on the Wainaku shoreline over the weekend.

The tan 1997 Toyota Camry four-door sedan was found in Honomu just after midnight Wednesday. Police thank the public for their assistance.

A fisherman discovered the body of Jodi L. Masutomi along the shoreline off Hawaii Belt Road shortly before midnight Saturday. An autopsy conducted revealed that her injuries were consistent with a fall from a height. The cause of death is being deferred, however, pending a toxicology report.
