Chloe Martins-Keliihoomalu scored six goals Saturday, and Kamehameha remained the class of Big Island Interscholastic Federation water polo, handling Kealakehe 15-4 in Keaau for its fifth straight league title.

The Warriors (12-0) and Waveriders (9-3) will return to Naeole Pool later this week for the Hawaii High School Athletic Association tournament. Kealakehe will start play Wednesday, while Kamehameha draws a bye into Thursday’s quarterfinals. The draw is expected to be announced today.

In beating Kealakehe for the third time this season, the Warriors still haven’t lost a BIIF match since the 2009 final against Hilo. Halia Nahale-A recorded a hat trick, Pua Wong and Acacia Trusdell each scored twice, and Katelynn Kubo and Cassidy Fratinardo added a goal apiece.

Mehana Pilago led Kealakehe with two goals, and Naomi Tomlinson and Marissa Bryant-Manago scored once each.
