An informational meeting for Boy Scouts of America’s Explorer Program is set for 5:30-6:30 p.m. today at the Hawaii Fire Department Training Room directly behind the Central Fire Station in Hilo, 466 Kinoole St.

An informational meeting for Boy Scouts of America’s Explorer Program is set for 5:30-6:30 p.m. today at the Hawaii Fire Department Training Room directly behind the Central Fire Station in Hilo, 466 Kinoole St.

All students in grades 9-12 are eligible to participate.

The Hawaii Fire Department is a sponsoring agency for the Explorer Program. The department is eager to start the program and has many activities planned and instructors waiting to share knowledge with participants.
