Reed Takaaze Photography is participating in the national “Portrait of Thanks” program, which rewards folks who do good deeds with a free portrait.

A monthly prize recognizes “the people who go out of their way to make their communities a great place to live,” said Takaaze.

The program collects and shares nominations online through social media and rewards one random nominee each month with a portrait session and framed 11-by-14-inch wall portrait.

To nominate someone, email reed@reedtakaaze.com and share his or her story of helping others.

You also can read stories of those who are giving back and making a difference on the website and Facebook postings, which will be available soon.

“There is no limit to the number of people you can nominate, and anyone can be nominated for any act of kindness — big or small,” said Takaaze.
