The county Department of Public Works reports that new sidewalks are being constructed along both sides of Ainaloa Blvd in Puna and will connect to Highway 130.

The work will cause alternating lane closures Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
Completion of the project is scheduled for mid-April, weather permitting.
