The Big Isle high schools involved are St. Joseph, Hilo, Waiakea and Honokaa. The presentation was made Nov. 3 with the Edmond C. Olson Trust at the Wainaku Executive Center in Hilo. After the band members played two of their parade marches in full parade uniform, they met with the visiting parade execs, enjoyed some refreshments and received the official theme poster for this year’s parade.
