Regal to operate theaters in Hilo

Regal Entertainment Group of Knoxville, Tenn., has taken over operations of Hollywood Theatres, including Hilo’s Prince Kuhio and Kress Cinema theaters.

Rich Given, Regal’s vice president of marketing, told the Tribune-Herald that Hollywood still owns the theaters, but Regal assumed operations of the Hilo movie houses on March 29 under a management agreement.
