Bernard Kikuo Sagawa, 77, of Hilo died Feb. 13 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was a retired deputy manager for the state Housing Authority, distributor of West Hawaii Today, member of Hilo Hooganji Mission, Big Island National Guard Retiree Association and retired veteran of the U.S. Army and Hawaii Army National Guard.
