Police need to do a much better job

The police on Big Island need to do better. They spend their resources doing traffic stops for seat-belt infractions when there are homeless people using drugs in the open and assaulting innocent bystanders on a weekly basis that apparently result in homicide.

Have they made any arrests on that? Why are they not detailing or patrolling these areas?

(On Wednesday), I saw six police officers standing around watching for people who were not buckled up. I have always been against defunding police, but if they are not going to protect us and waste our tax dollars with six officers watching for seat-belt infractions, I am all for taking away their funds.

Cannon fodder for Putin’s invasion

The Russian Federation is a very large nation with a very diverse but asymmetrically dispersed population, divided in large by the Ural Mountains.

The Urals also separate European Russia from Asian Russia, and although the population is sparsely populated east of the Urals, Vladimir Putin views the males of this region, commonly known as Siberia, to be cannon fodder for his war in Ukraine.

He’s loathe to use males from Moscow and Saint Petersburg, because he doesn’t want body bags to flood into them so the population of mostly European Russians will support his slaughter in Ukraine.

Many Siberians would like to cede from the Russian Federation and have nothing to do with Putin and his war.

Leader needed who respects Constitution

There’s only one problem with political jokes: Sometimes they get reelected.

Our country shouldn’t be the laughing stock of other nations, but instead a proud one which chooses to put someone in the White House who believes in ethics and morality. Someone who has a true respect for our Constitution.

Just say no to any candidate who is not worthy of holding the mighty position of president of the United States.
