The Hawaii Wood Guild’s 38th Invitational Masters Show is being held now through Thursday, Feb. 29.

The exhibit is free and open to the public from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, with limited hours on Saturdays.

All items in the show are available for purchase.

Isaacs Art Center at Hawaii Preparatory Academy in Waimea has hosted the Hawaii Wood Guild’s annual Invitational Masters Show since 2009. This year’s exhibition will feature furniture, sculptures, and wood art by noted island artisans including: Joe Butterweck, Marcus Castaing, Kelly Dunn, Mike Felig, Mats Fogelvik, Cliff Johns, Noah Lake, Tai Lake, Duane Millers, John Mydock, Tom O’Connor, Les Pedersen, Greg Pontius, David Reisland, Paul Schuerch, Timothy Shafto, Michael Patrick Smith, Robert Woodward, and Scott Zuziak.

“We are looking forward to another extraordinary Hawaii Wood Guild show,” said Mollie Hustace, the Isaacs Art Center director. “We are thrilled to have so many noted artists participating with more than 50 exquisite works on display, and we invite everyone to enjoy this spectacular exhibit.”

Isaacs Art Center, located at 65-1268 Kawaihae Road, features some of the finest Hawaiian and Asian art from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, according to a press release.

Ongoing exhibitions also are featured on the gallery’s Instagram and Facebook pages. Proceeds from gallery artwork have supported the HPA Financial Aid program since its opening in 2004.
