Hawaii County Civil Defense Agency has scheduled a two-day Community Emergency Response Team Basic Training course from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27, and Sunday, Jan. 28, at the Aupuni Center Conference Room at 101 Pauahi St. in Hilo.

This free CERT course is an in-depth Federal Emergency Management Agency emergency response training class to empower participants and their communities on how to best respond to an emergency or disaster.
