Lucille J. Hookano, 78, of Hilo died Nov. 9. Born in Hawaii, she was a retired senior center receptionist. Celebration of life 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday (Dec. 1) at Lihikai Hawaiian Cultural Center, 74 Onekahakaha Rd. in Hilo. Survived by sons, Keoki Hookano and Keoni Hookano; daughters, Sui-lan Hookano and Piilani Hookano; brothers, Chico Fernandez and Clyde Ammons; sister, Sylvia Fernandez Huffey; 17 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; aunts, uncles and cousins. Doris E. Fukui, 82, of Hilo, died Oct. 1 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, she was a retired county Motor Vehicle Registration supervisor and member of Malia Puka O Kalani Catholic Church. Visitation 10-11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Memorial service at 11 a.m. Casual attire. Keith Fumio Mento, 61, of Papaikou died Nov. 15 at Kona Community Hospital. He was born in Hilo. Private services. Cecilia Salabe Tugcay, 98, of Papaaloa died Nov. 1 at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. Born in Keauhou, she was a homemaker and formerly employed at Laupahoehoe High School, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Laupahoehoe Senior Citizens. Visitation 9-10 a.m. Friday (Dec. 1) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Prayer service at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park, Ilima Section. Casual attire.
