Friends of the Pana’ewa Zoo will be hosting their Spring Plant Sale Saturday, April 1, at the entrance to the equestrian center.

There will be 20 local nurseries with their beautiful and healthy plants, ready to support your local zoo. 20% of all sales are donated to the zoo.

Here is a short list of some of the plants available:

bamboo, bromeliads, vireya, heliconias, podocarpus, orchids, palms, fruit trees, Norfolk pine, house plants, water plants, and many more. Come and check us out, you won’t be disappointed.

Where: Entrance to the Equestrian Center

Time: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm

Friends of the Pana’ewa Zoo donations help with supplies, toys, and enrichment for the animals, assistance with veterinary bills and medications, funding for small exhibits, refurbishing of the cages and habitats, and many other enhancements for the animals and visitors to the Zoo.
