Ethel Leilani Wong Avilla, 82, of Keaau died Nov. 30 at home. Born in Honolulu, she was a retired front desk clerk at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiiki. Dean Hiroshi Fujitani, 65, of Waimea died Dec. 5 at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born in Honokaa, he was a retired maintenance supervisor for a Waikoloa hotel, self-employed handyman, employee of the former Hamakua Sugar Co. and member of Annunciation Catholic Church. Visitation 9-9:45 a.m. Saturday (Jan. 14) at Annunciation Catholic Church in Waimea for him and his wife, Julie, who died Mov. 17. Memorial Mass at 10 a.m. Casual attire.
