Constance Constancia Aldaya, 80, of Hilo, formerly of San Bruno, Calif., died Nov. 14 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Pahala, she was an accountant for multiple San Francisco-based companies and a 1960 graduate of Kamehameha Schools. Private services. Survived by husband, James Aldaya of Hilo; children, Jaime Aldaya of Palm Springs, Calif., Deanna (Brett) Uchida of Newman, Calif., Jerod (Lorraine) Aldaya of San Bruno, Calif., and Jolen (Alaina) Aldaya of Prospect Park, Pa.; sisters, Frances Pahukoa of Pearl City, Oahu, Felicita Dumayas of Kahului, Maui, Julinda (Pablo) Pastor of Daly City, Calif., Charlene Palmer of Arizona, Chris Cera of Honolulu and Leilani Cera of Hilo; brothers, Gilbert Cera of Papaikou, Glenn Cera of Pahoa, Gary Cera of Nanakuli, Oahu, and Greg Cera of Wahiawa, Oahu; six grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Sister Jessie Alai Kai, 80, of Honolulu, died Dec. 2 at the Malia O Ka Malu convent in Honolulu. Born in Hilo, she was a Catholic nun of the Sisters of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary and Perpetual Admiration. A graduate of St. Joseph Hilo School and the former Hilo Business College, she worked for Kai Store and Bank of Hawaii. In 44 years as a sister, she taught at Sacred Hearts Academy, helped found Sacred Hearts Parish in Waianae and a Sacred Hearts community at St. Damien Parish in Kaunakakai, Molokai, among other accomplishments. Rosary at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday (Dec. 14) at St. Margaret Mary Chapel at Sacred Hearts Academy in Honolulu. Eulogies at 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Burial at 1 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park in Kaneohe, Oahu. Survived by sisters, Regina (Otto) Furlow, Pauline Weddle, Diane Kai and Victoria Kai; brothers, Herbert (Ingrid) Kai, Thomas Kai and Paul Kai; nieces and nephews. Henry Masayuki Ching, 56, of Hilo died Oct. 21 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Honolulu, he was a pawnbroker. Private services held. Survived by wife, Wendy Ching of Hilo; sons, Johnathan Ching and Alexander Ching of Hilo; mother, Doris Ching of Kaneohe, Oahu; sister, Darlene (Ryan) Orian of Fresno, Calf.; two nieces. William “Buddy” Louis Greenwood, 75, of Honokaa died on Nov. 7 at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born in Hamakua, he was a maintenance supervisor for the federal government and U.S. Air Force veteran. Mass at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 9, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Honokaa. Survived by daughter, Janine (John Stapleton) Greenwood of Mobile, Ala. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.

Lillian Ku‘ualoha Keli‘ipio, 92, of Keaukaha, died Nov. 21 at Okano Care Home in Keaau. Born in Hilo, she was a retired county recreational assistant, Hilo High School graduate who also attended Kapiolani School and St. Joseph School, earned a Bachelor of Arts with Highest Honors in liberal studies at the University of Hawaii at Hilo and was a membr of Malia Puka O Kalani Catholic Church, Keaukaha Community Association and Na Wahine O Kamehameha, Royal Order of Kamehameha I. Visitation 4-6 p.m. Wednesday (Dec. 14) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Wake service at 6 p.m. Visitation again 9-10 a.m Thursday, Dec. 15, at Malia Puka O Kalani Catholic Church, 326 Desha Ave. in Hilo. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park. Survived by sons, Alexander (Sheryl) Keli‘ipio of Kauai and Hiram (Christi) Keli‘ipio Sr. of Keaukaha; hanai son, Joseph Poai III of Panaewa; brother, Stephen K.
