Jonnie Lee Davis, 60, of Hilo died Sept. 23, Born on Oahu, she was a world traveler. Celebration of life in January 2023 in Hilo. Survived by sons, Durrell Davis and Alika Carriaga; daughter, Thomisha (Gordon) Ponce; stepson Antonio Davis; brothers, Mariano (Darlene) Carriaga Jr., Carl “Little Man” (Pua) Carriaga, Melvin “Ray” Carter, Francis “Adobo” (Rochelle) Carter, William (Chastity) Henderson and Robert (Tamara) Henderson; sisters, Esther “Tootie” Lamar and Denise Henderson; eight grandchildren; nephews, nieces and hanai children. Leopoldo Calaro Tagabi, 70, of Pahoa died Sept. 26 at home. Born in Sarrat, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, he worked for a flower and plant nursery in Puna and was a member of the Pahoa Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Visitation 9-10:15 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at Pahoa Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Eulogy at 10:15 a.m. Mass at 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at the church cemetery. Survived by wife, Rebecca Tagabi of Pahoa; sons, Isagani (Marilou) Tagabi, Jay (Marjorie Dela Cruz) Tagabi, Laidon (Charlene) Tagabi, Wendel Tagabi and Jan Leo (Kristel) Tagabi of Pahoa; daughters, Geroldine T. (Rafael) Gonzalez of Keaau, Sheryl T. (Marilou) Julian of Pahoa and Jenny T. (Cody Mattos) Reyes of Mountain View; brother, Michael (Florinda) Tagabi of Pahoa; sisters, Conchita T. (Sancho) Felizardo of Philippines, Epigenea Tagabi and Victoria T. (Geronimo) Acosta of Pahoa, Ernesta Oliveros of Honolulu; 13 grandchildren; cousins, nieces and nephews.
