The East Hawaii Lions Clubs wants to remind the public that registration for the 2022 Downtown Hilo Christmas Light Parade ends today.

The parade will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26.

“It will be a parade full of live holiday music by marching bands from Keaau High, Waiakea High, Hilo Intermediate and Hilo High,” Parade coordinator Jeff Dansdill said in a press release. “We’re so happy to get this holiday tradition started up again and hope the community will come to downtown Hilo on November 26 and make it a real holiday celebration.”

Organizations interested in participating in the parade should visit hilolightparade.com to register online or email hilolightparade22@gmail.com for more information.

Lions Clubs provide humanitarian service to their communities. The East Hawaii Lions Clubs include the Akaka Falls Lions Club, the Hilo Crescent City Lions Club, the Hilo Lions Club, the Hilo Hawaii Lions Unlimited Club and the Waiakea Lions Club.

The Leos Club from Hilo Crescent City will also provide valuable assistance.
