Christopher Mark Allen, 30, of Captain Cook died Sept. 20 in Kealakekua. Born in Santa Clara, Calif., he was a software programmer. Doris Anne Dolaptchieff, 90, of Pahoa died Aug. 23 at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. Born in East Liverpool, Ohio, she was a homemaker. Private services held. Jean Hisako Hayashi, 90, of Kealakekua died September 2 at Fiesta Care Home in Pahoa. Born in Hilo, she was owner and general manager of K. Hayashi Store and member of Kamuela Hongwanji Mission, Kamuela Hongwanji Buddhist Women’s Association, Waimea Senior Citizens Club and Halau Hula Ka No‘eau. Services held. Jacqueline Mae Hill, 86, of Kailua-Kona died Aug. 19 at Hospice of Kona’s Nakamaru Hale. Born in Honolulu, she was a telephone operator for the former Royal Waikoloan Hotel and of Kaahumanu Society. Patricia Ann MacAskill, 81, of Hilo died Sept. 17 at a private care home. Born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, Canada, she was a homemaker, worked at Pitman Learning, Evelyn Wood Speed Reading, Sun Microsystems, Bear River Lake Resorts and an avid baker and reader.
