The Waimea Arts Council presents ‘Aloha ‘Aina, Love of the Land’ art show at the Firehouse Gallery in Waimea. The show is running through Sept. 25 in conjunction with the 2022 island-wide Aloha Festival.

The show features original artwork, fine art photographs, sculpture, glasswork and other interpretations of love of the land.

“We hope people will be inspired by this beautiful art show and leave with a greater appreciation of our ‘aina and this special place we live,” said Waimea Arts Council President Kathy Sprinkle.

The Firehouse Gallery is open from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., Friday-Sunday and whenever the flags out front are flying.

It is located at 67-1201 Mamalahoa Highway, Waimea, housed in the old firehouse and firemen’s bunkhouse buildings in the Waimea Historic Corner Park.
