Kona Community Policing is hosting a pair of “Coffee with a Cop” events this month.
The first is Friday, Sept. 16, 8-10 a.m. at the Kona Mountain Coffee Co., 73-4038 Hulikoa Dr. in Kailua-Kona. The second is Friday, Sept. 23, 8-10 a.m. at Kona Coffee &Tea, 74-5588 Palani Rd. in Kailua-Kona
“Coffee with a Cop” encourages community members to get to know their police officers over a cup of coffee. This casual event has no agenda and topics of conversation can range from sharing personal stories to discussing neighborhood issues.
