Howard Lee Hutchinson, 82, of Hilo died Aug. 13 in Hilo. Born in Honolulu, he graduated from Kamehameha Schools-Kapalama campus, he was an avid fisherman and painter. Brett Masashi Kaneshiro, 61, of Hakalau died June 15 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Honolulu, he was a landscaper and former member of the Hawaii Jaycees. Jane Loehr McKinney, 86, of Kailua-Kona died Aug. 29 at Marieta’s Care Home. Born in Honolulu, she was a teacher at public schools in California and Ohio, Ka‘u High School and Kealakehe Intermediate School. Services at a later date. Glenn Yutaka Toyama, 77, of Mountain View died Aug. 20 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Olaa, he was the owner of Hawaii Flower Garden, a U.S. Army Vietnam Era veteran and member of Hui Okinawa. Francis Joseph Triggs, 89, of Mauna Lani Resort in Waimea died July 21 at home. Born in New London, Conn., ​he was a physician specializing in family practice and sports medicine. Ashley Allen Tsuji, 45, of Hilo died Aug. 17 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was a marketing manager for Hawaii Life, a dance fitness instructor, formerly employed at Building Industries Association of Hawaii, D.R. Horton and HMSA, volunteered for several non-profit organizations including the American Cancer Society and Up With People, and an avid performer who appeared in community theater productions in Hilo and on Oahu. The late Arthur Arion Hoke Jr. was survived by, among others, a brother, Parker Panaewa (Rachel) Widemann. His name was submitted for an obituary published Monday, and Tim Judd was incorrectly submitted as a brother-in-law.
