Norman Elston Dubbs, 92, of Kailua-Kona died June 10 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in North Fruitdale, Ore., he was a retired charter skipper and boat inspector at Honokohau Harbor. Mildred Kabalis, 87, of Hilo died Aug. 1 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Honolulu, she was a bartender at the former Orchid Island Hotel, hostess at Ken’s House of Pancakes, assistant manager at Vision Quest and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Adam Jared Larkin, 16, and Gabriel Conrad Larkin, 14, of Mountain View, both died Aug. 11, 2022 at Haena/Shipman Beach in Keaau.
