Volcano Art Center’s fourth biennial quilt exhibition, “Recover: Looking Forward, Honoring the Past,” currently is underway at the Volcano Art Center’s Niaulani Campus in Volcano.

The exhibit is on display from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays until Aug. 14 in Dietrich Varez Hall in the Hale Ho‘omana building at 19-4074 Old Volcano Rd.

The biannual quilt show presents 37 quilts by 19 different quilters of Hawaii Island.

The exhibition highlights traditional, contemporary and innovative quilts from both amateur and professional quilters.

While the exhibit is free of charge, donations are greatly accepted.
