Heiva I Keaukaha, an event that features a full day of solo and group Tahitian dance competitions, will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Sunday at the Kawananakoa Gym in Keaukaha.

There also will be an exhibition and various craft and food vendors.

Tickets are $8 at the door; free admission for children under 4.

During the exhibition portion of the day, Merahi Productions will present and portray the Legend of the King of Sharks.

Through their intricate dancing and striking costumes, the vahine of Merahi Productions bring the story of Kamohoalii and Nanaue to life.
