The 3rd Annual Experience Volcano Festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday throughout the Volcano area.

Festivities will span the entire Volcano area, with a concentration of activities in the heart of historic Volcano village.

Restaurants will be featuring special menus and drink options alongside their everyday menus.

Everyone is encouraged to visit all six venues participating in the festival.

Blown glass demonstrations will be on display once more at 2400 Fahrenheit, and live music will be on the menu at Lava Rock Cafe, Kilauea Lodge, Volcano Art Center, and Volcano Winery.

This year the festival is featuring more than 40 vendors that offer locally made products and goodies. Additionally, the festival has planned more than 50 events that include tours, workshops, music, cultural, exhibits, demonstrations and hula for everyone to enjoy.

The festival is continuing its partnership with the Ohia Lehua Runs. The Ohia Lehua Runs will begin Saturday morning and will offer a 5K and half-marathon option. For runner safety, partial road closures will be in effect in the Volcano village area prior to festival hours.

This free festival is made possible by Experience Volcano Hawaii and its sponsors, including Akatsuka Orchid Gardens, Volcano Heritage Cottages, Corcoran Pacific Properties, HPM, Island Naturals and the supporters of the Volcano Skate Park.
