George “Squeaky” Andrade Jr., 74, of Keaau died July 1 at home. Born in Lahaina, Maui, he was a retired assistant fiscal officer for Maui County Department of Water Supply. Private services. Geoffrey Tsuyoshi Arai, 60, of Hilo died June 27 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. Kenneth Mun Wai Chun, 102, of Hilo died June 16 in Hilo. Born in Waiahole, Oahu, he was retired from Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard in 1977, delivered meals with his late wife, Alice, for Hawaii Meals on Wheels and volunteered with Hospice Hawaii, Kuakini Hospital, Makiki District Park, and Kamehameha, Mid-Pacific, Iolani, and Punahou schools, making haku leis for their ho‘olaulea and carnivals. They were lifelong members of Manoa Valley Church. After moving to Hilo, he volunteered at Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home. Visitation 11 a.m.-noon Saturday, Aug. 13, at Manoa Valley Church, 2728 Huapala St., Honolulu. Service and reception to follow. No flowers or koden (monetary gifts). Mrs. Reiko Masutomi, 89, of Hilo died June 9 at home. Born in Holualoa, she was a retired 4th grade teacher at Waiakeawaena Elementary School and member of the Church of the Holy Cross, Kula Wahine Golf Club and Kamana Senior Center, where she was active in line dancing. Randolph David “Bully” Shin Jr., 52, of Keaau died April 4 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was a cook at Waiakea Intermediate and Hilo High school, attended Sure Foundation Puna and enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, diving and spending time with family.
