Seven arrested during warrants sweep

The Hawaii Police Department arrested seven people last week on outstanding warrants during a sweep in Puna.

According to a police department news release, six adults and one minor were arrested June 9 for a total of 10 outstanding warrants and drug offenses.

The warrants were for minor offenses including contempt of court and violating terms of bail.

The minor was arrested for a runaway offense and contempt of court.

The adults arrested were: Heather Parrish, 42; Shealyn Anderson, 24; Kayden Dereis, 28; Melanie Carvalho, 59; Bradley Nartatez, 28; and Jadelynn Torres, 34.

Anyone with information about other wanted fugitives are asked to call the police department’s nonemergency line at 935-3311.
