Emory L. Kuhl, 65, of Hilo passed away on Dec. 6. Born in Pennsylvania, he was a State of Hawaii Department of Transportation Highways Division worker. Private service held. Bobby Ray Narmore, 88, of Naples, Fla., formerly of Honokaa, died Feb. 1 in Naples. Born in Cherokee, Alabama, and raised in Indianapolis, he was a retired U.S. Air Force chief master sergeant, military police officer and Vietnam War veteran who earned the Bronze Star for meritorious service. He also played on and coached military teams in several sports. Graveside services 10:30 a.m. Saturday (March) 5 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church Cemetery in Honokaa. Survived by sons, Ned Narmore, Robert (Carolyn) Narmore and Neal (Charlotte) Narmore; daughter, Nadine (Bob) Nardi; brother, James; sister, Rose; brother-in-law Bobby (Barbara) Acantilado; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Joanne “Jo’O” Lauden O’Donnell, 88, of Ocean View died Feb. 21 at Life Care Center of Kona. Born in Providence, R.I., she was a registered nurse. Private service at a later date. Survived by sons, Franklin O’Donnell of Alaska and Gerald O’Donnell of Ocean View; daughter, Joanna O’Donnell of California; four grandchildren and a great-grandson. Raymond “Ray” Rosa Jr., 87, of Waimea died Feb. 25 at home. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired public works supervisor for the City of Pacifica, Calif., co-founder of Northern California Hawaiian Athletic Association, member of Puka da Sky Golf Club of Hayward, Calif. and St. James’ Episcopal Church Men’s Golf Group, and U.S. Army veteran.
