Fire destroyed an unpermitted Mountain View home early Monday morning.
According to a Hawaii Fire Department statement, seven units responded to 18-1278 Kauai St. after receiving the 12:34 a.m. alarm.
The first unit arrived 20 minutes later to find the 20-feet-by-30-feet, single-story wooden structure without utilities engulfed in flames.
There was no one home and no injuries reported.
Estimated damage was $10,000.
