Paul Francis Rodrick, 69, of Kurtistown died Dec. 17 at home. Born in Brockton, Mass., he was a retired maintenance worker for Ellison Onizuka Kona International Airport at Keahole, St. Francis Medical Center on Oahu and Princess Kaiulani Hotel. Private services. Survived by sons, Jacob (Loveland) Rodrick of Kona and David Rodrick of Hilo; siblings, Marie O’Leary of Idaho, Danny Rodrick of Virginia and Dotty Dodge of Arizona; nieces and nephews. Ann Phillips Roney, 87, of Hilo died Dec 27 at home. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, she was a medical technologist for the former Kaiser Hospital in Honolulu and Kohala Hospital, the former Honokaa Hospital, Ka‘u Hospital, and Hilo Medical Group, Realtor for Day-Lum Realty, member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and Hilo Yacht Club, volunteer for Friends of the Children’s Justice Center and Friends of the Library and avid tennis player. Visitation 9-10 a.m. Tuesday (Jan. 4) at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Papaikou. Memorial Mass at 10 a.m. Face masks and social distancing required. Memorial donations to Friends of the Children’s Justice Center-East Hawaii, P.O. Box 6908, Hilo, HI 96720. Survived by husband, John Frederick Roney of Hilo; children, Beth Roney DeYoung of Hilo, John Frederick Roney Jr. of Santa Rosa, Calif., Katherine Phillips Roney of Redondo Beach, Calif., and Mary Patricia Roney of Honolulu; six grandchildren. Cecil Kenneth Sisk, Jr., 66, of Hilo, died Dec. 17, 2021, Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. He was born in Houston. No services. No known survivors. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.
