Although lines have shortened, COVID-19 testing continues to be widely available in Hawaii County via the provider TrueCare24 six days a week.

Testing is provided weekly in Hilo, Kailua-Kona, North Kohala, Pahala, Pahoa and Waimea and will be available through October and November.

TrueCare24 recently transitioned from the nasal swab test to self-administered saliva testing, which can take 10-12 minutes to complete.

Every week, TrueCare24 will be at the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium in Hilo from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

A full calendar of testing at every location can be found on the county’s website at http://tiny.cc/m8okuz.
