Wayne Gilbert De Motta, 65, of Hilo died Sept. 7, 2020, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was a retired Hawaii County paramedic, worked at the former Hilo Coast Processing Co., and was a member of Keaukaha Canoe Club, Hawaii Firefighters Association, black belt from Honomu Judo Club, fisherman and hunter.
