Jeanie Libunao Jara, 49, of Pahala died July 30 at home. Born in the Philippines, she was a picker and factory worker for MacFarms of Hawaii and member of Assembly of God in Ka‘u. Visitation 9-10 a.m. Saturday (Aug. 14) at Naalehu Hongwanji Mission Church. Funeral service at 10 a.m. Burial at Naalehu Community Cemetery at 12 noon. Face masks and social distancing required. Edward Kanahele Kinzie, 49, of Hilo, formerly of Kauai, died July 1 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Honolulu, he was a groundskeeper at Hawaii Community College and former cook at Kulani Correctional Facility. Born in Honolulu, she was a resident manager at Hilo Val Hala and Hale Aloha apartments, school bus driver for Roberts Hawaii and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Keaukaha Ward. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired crane operator at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard for Stevedore Local R56-099 and He was a U.S. Navy veteran during Vietnam War aboard USS Jason (AR-8).
