Parker School celebrated the graduation of 30 seniors during its 45th commencement ceremonies on Friday under a tent on Parker’s lower school campus.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, Parker’s graduation included a masked and socially distanced in-person ceremony for immediate family members, as well as a livestream for extended family, friends, faculty and fellow students. Keeping with school tradition, members of the Class of 2021 danced the hula to “Waimea ‘Aina Hanohano,” and presented their parents with leis of appreciation.

The day’s festivities ended with a parade organized by graduates and their families through Waimea to streets lined with well-wishers sharing their aloha for the graduates.
