Michael David Chart, 73, of Pahoa died March 9 at home. Born in Croydon South, England, He was a retired automotive technician for Volvo. Celebration of life at a later date. Survived by sister, Maureen Hollidge of Sussex, England; brother, John Chart Sr. of Kent, England; sister, Karen (Michael) Thomas of South Wales, Great Britain; son, Brian Marlow of Oregon; dear friend, Betty Kaeo of Pahoa; nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Harumi Kawamoto, 95, of Waimea died April 28 at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born in Hilo, she was a retired sales clerk for the former Ben Franklin Store in Waimea and member of Paauilo Konkoji Mission and Paauilo Hongwanji Mission. Private services held. Jovencio M. Pimentel Sr., 70, of Naalehu died April 16 at Ka‘u Hospital. Born in the Philippines, he was a heavy equipment operator and highways worker. Services held. Survived by wife, Zenaida M. Rene Siracusa, 82, of Pahoa died June 29, 2020. Born in New York City, she was the founder of Malama ‘O Puna and a community and environmental activist. Interment was private. Roy Karl Skogstrom, 65, of Pepeekeo died May 4 at home. Born in Manhasset, N.Y., he owned Kahua Exotic Tropical Fruits Farm in Pepeekeo, was a physical therapist, CEO of Oncologic, a biotech company working on a treatment for cancer, and graduated with honors from Stanford University with degrees in chemistry and biology.
