A Wednesday morning fire destroyed a home in Hawaiian Paradise Park subdivision.

According to a written Hawaii Fire Department statement, eight companies responded to the 10:08 a.m. alarm. The first unit that arrived, six minutes later, found the single-story, 1,200-square-foot structure fully engulfed in flames with the roof collapsed. Damage was estimated at $150,000.

No one was home at the time and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
