Kenneth William Ka‘ea Decoito, 29, of Hilo died Feb. 20 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was a pest exterminator and member of Naalehu Assembly of God Church. Private service noon–1 p.m. Friday (March 12) at Ballard Family Mortuary Hilo. Drive-thru service 1-2 p.m. at the mortuary. Remain in car at all times. Face masks and social distancing required. Ronald Alexander Faust, 67, of Kona died Jan. 28 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Vallejo, Calif., he was a paving superintendent. No services. Survived by sons, Ronald A. (Jessica) Faust II of Reno, Nev., and Adam (Sarah) Faust of Salem, Ore.; daughter, Aime Faust of Oregon; father, Robert M. Faust of Nevada; brother, Robert Faust of Ocean View; eight grandchildren. Walter Yukio Kanda, 76, of Honokaa died Feb. 19 at home. Born in Kohala, he was a retired athletic director for Honokaa High School, member of the Honokaa Hongwanji Mission and played for the Kupuna Softball League. Private services held. Survived by wife, Beverly Kanda of Honokaa; sons, Scott Kanda of Honokaa and Steven Kanda of Renton, Wash.; daughter, Sherry (Fred) Agdeppa of Honokaa; brother, Larry (Hattie) Kanda of Honolulu; sister, Elaine Sumida of Hilo; brother-in-law, Shokichi Tokita of Renton, Wash.; sister-in-law, Naomi (Paul) Matsumoto of Lahaina, Maui; two granddaughters; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Irene “Luka” R. Kaneo, 91, of Honokaa died Feb. 11 at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born in Waimea, she was retired from Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Honokaa Ward. Visitation 9-11 a.m. Saturday, March 20, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Private funeral service at 11 a.m. Face masks and social distancing required. Casual attire. Dorann “Dodie” Louise Ehrlich Zuke, 74, of Waimea died Feb. 6 in Waikoloa. Born in San Francisco, she was a retired banquet captain at the Waikoloa Beach Marriott, volunteer at the Kahilu Theatre and North Hawaii Community Hospital, and member of Waimea Outdoor Circle.
