Carl “Bud” Robin Boege, 59, of Kailua-Kona died Dec. 29 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Portland, Ore., he was a wood artist, former prep cook, martial artist and laborer. Private services at a later date. Survived by companion, Valerie DeMello of Waimea; nephews, Braeden Boege and Michael Boege of Oklahoma.

Benjamin Craig Davidson, 41, of Hilo died Dec. 18 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Coos Bay, Ore., he worked for Spotlight Maintenance and was a member of 808 Bangahz. Drive-through services 3-5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13, at the Haili Tent in Panaewa. Private services for immediate family and friends only held separately. Alfred “Freddy” “Jr.” Leite Jr., 87, of Papaikou died Jan. 23 at home. Born in Pepeekeo, he was a retired harvesting foreman from the former Hilo Coast Processing Co. and member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Visitation 9-11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Mauna Kea Memorial Park in Papaikou. Casual attire. Face masks and social distancing required.
