Brian Katsumi Shindo, 61, of Hilo died Nov. 12 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was a retired mail carrier for the United States Postal Service, commercial fisherman and a retired technical sergeant with the U.S. Air Force. Private services.
