Alfredo Cabatu Cabaccang, 85, of Keaau died on Aug. 26 at home. Born in Mapisi Nagbukel, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, he was a retired papaya farmer and member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church. Visitation from 5-6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 26, at Dodo Mortuary chapel; service at 6 p.m. Mass at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial at Homelani Memorial Park (Ilima Sec.) Charles Edward Coe, 78, of Hilo died Oct. 8 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Wahiawa, Oahu, he was a retired truck driver, member of the Po‘aha Pa‘ina Golf Club, Hawaii Police Golf Club and the Operating Engineers Union, Local 3. Private services. Born in Laupahoehoe, he was a retired diesel and automobile mechanic for the former Hamakua Sugar Company, member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Santo Ninio Club and Paauilo Community Athletic Association and U.S. Army Korean War veteran.
