Jenna Crockett of Hilo graduated from the University of Utah on April 30. Crockett, whose major is listed as physician assistant studies MPS, was among the 8,628 graduates who were honored during the university’s virtual commencement.

Dillon Casey Mathew-Gilmore of Pahoa received a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from Hollins University. She graduated cum laude. A graduate of Hawaii Academy of Arts and Sciences, Mathew-Gilmore is the child of Dionne Mathew of Hawaii and Greg Gilmore of Wisconsin.
Sarina Wyrick graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo., on April 18, 2020. Wyrick received her bachelor of science degree in military history and was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force. Wyrick was selected for pilot training. During her time as a cadet, she served as a squadron commander and was a member of the Wings of Blue, the academy’s elite parachute team. She performed all over the world and completed more than 570 jumps. Wyrick is the daughter of Dr. Lovina Sabnani of Hilo and Brig. Gen. Brett Wyrick of Washington, D.C. She is a 2015 graduate of St. Joseph High School in Hilo.

Joshua Breitbarth of Hilo is one of 38 Simpson College’s student-athletes named to the spring 2020 American Rivers Conference All-Academic Team. Breitbarth was a senior on the baseball team and majoring in sports administration and physical education.
Isaiah Nakoa-Oness of Hilo was named a 2019-20 scholar-athlete by the Heart of America Athletic Conference for exceptional academic achievements at Graceland University. He is majoring in accounting and participated in men’s volleyball during the 2019-20 season.
